This document describes the characteristics and technical details of the DOSE-I multimodal biosignal dataset for procedural sedation, which has been published on Zenodo. The DOSE-I dataset includes 78.5 hours of recordings in 171 records, ranging from 6.7 to 70.8 minutes (mean: 27.5, SD: 11.6).

The dataset recorded 1129 transitions of consciousness (median: 6 per record) and 7328 individual sedation depth labels (median: 39 per record). In addition to clinically annotated biosignals, the DOSE-I dataset provides detailed static data about the respective study subjects and metadata about the recordings. Furthermore, to support future research, we provide details about artifact detection and preprocessed pEEG features. The C code used for this preprocessing is provided separately via GitHub.

Blogger's Review: The release of the DOSE-I dataset offers significant support for research in procedural sedation during endoscopy, particularly in biosignal processing and consciousness state analysis. The dataset's richness and comprehensive metadata will facilitate deeper investigations in related fields. Looking forward to innovative applications and research outcomes based on this dataset.
