In spring 2026 the following members were recognized: Faez Ahmed received the Air Force Office of Scientific Research Young Investigator Program award with up to $450,000 funding; Navid Azizan earned an NSF CAREER award supporting early‑career innovation; Yet‑Ming Chiang was named a Boston Globe Tech Power Player 2026; Samantha Coday won the ARPA‑E IGNIITE award to advance energy technologies; Srini Devadas received the ACM‑IEEE CS Eckert‑Mauchly Award for computer and digital systems architecture; Joel Emer was granted the ACM SIGARCH/IEEE TCCA Influential Paper Award for a paper that shaped the field over two decades; Chuchu Fan earned the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Early Academic Career Award; Yoel Fink obtained the APS Andrei Sakharov Prize for leadership in human‑rights advocacy; Aristide Gumyusenge secured the ACS Polymer Materials Early Investigator Award; Paula Hammond was honored with the AIChE John M. Prausnitz Institute Lecture Award; Robert Langer received the Robert A. Welch Award in Chemistry; Gareth McKinley was elected to the National Academy of Sciences; Farnaz Niroui won the Transducer Research Foundation Rising Star of Microsystems Award; Tomás Palacios earned the Quantum Devices Award at the International Symposium on Compound Semiconductors; Ritu Raman obtained a Grainger Foundation Frontiers of Engineering Grant; Lindsey Raymond was named a Schmidt Sciences AI2050 Early Career Fellow; Daniela Rus received the Bavarian Minister‑President High‑Tech Prize; Afreen Siddiqi was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship; Vincent Sitzmann secured both an NSF CAREER award and the IEEE PAMI Young Researcher Award; Loza Tadesse was listed in Chemical & Engineering News 2026 Talented 12; Kripa Varanasi accepted a WIPO Global Award for his startup AgZen.
